Then Friday was spend getting things ready for the weekend. Warren did a little bit of work at the firework stands while I ran errands. First to my moms at lunch to get letters ready to mail out for my 3-day and fill out some applications. Then I ran to the post office, bank, then HEB. I didn't even get what I went to HEB for, go figure. Then it was home to get ready for Relay for Life.
Relay for Life started at 6pm and went to 6am. I did this with Warren's family. We had so much fun and got a lot of walking in. I walked 10 miles and I was definitely feeling the hurt come 5:30 am. 6am couldn't have come any faster. Then it was home to sleep for a few hours.
This is our group minus 1 person....he was off chasing some girl!!
The two ladies on the left are some of the strongest women I know
and the two women on the right I miss dearly!!!
The back of my luminaries.
Saturday after about 4 hours of sleep it was time to get up and get the day started. We got ready and drove to Peaster for Mrs. Fant's retirement party. It was good to get to catch up with some people and see Mrs. Fant. Then it was straight back to Cleburne for a family get together since my uncle Hank and Susan are here from Colorado and my cousin Josh and his wife Felecia are here on R&R from overseas. We got to celebrate some birthdays too!! I sure wish this part of my family lived closer and didn't have to be deployed but I couldn't be prouder of Josh and Felecia and the sacrifices they make for our country!! I love you both!! Warren and I planned to go to the drive in for date night but decided we wouldn't make it through the movie because we where both soooo tired from the night before so we went home.
Sunday I slept in till 12:30. It felt soooo good!! Then it was off to work on the firework stands. Wayne came out to help a bit! Then Sunday night we bought steaks and went to Warren's brothers house to have dinner. Its always good times with the 4 Dukes!!! Love spending time with Ray Ray and Shelly!!!
Now its time for bed. Have a great week!!
