Weekend Wrap Up

It was a busy weekend!! 

Friday night I went down to my moms to go swimming with her and Jim. The water was REALLY cold but it was nice. Then Saturday morning we slept in. Warren wanted to get out of the house so we went to town and went to the mall. We didn't find anything but we did get a snocone which is one of my favorite things!!! 

Saturday night was a a great time. My girls from high school and I got our families together for one of our reunions. It has been way too long!!! We started out as 5 and now our little family has grown to 15 and still growing!!! We had a great time loving on the babies, reading to the big girls and catching up with each other. 

After a long night Saturday we enjoyed sleeping in again!!! But Sunday had tons in store for the Dukes!! Warren got up and started working outside on the gates and I straighten up the kitchen and the breakfast room. Then it was time to go to town to get supplies for the day. Warren also thought that the girls (our two miniature daschunds) needed some doneys (donuts). So we all 4 loaded up in the truck and went to get doneys and to the hardware store. Luckily for the girls the hardware store also has dog toys!! Warren got them a toy with 19 squeakers!!! Annie doesn't like to share much though!!! 

After errands it was back to the house for some hard work. Warren was back to working on the gates and I was off to get the firework stand ready for the 4th of July season!! Wayne and Schrandia came out about noon to help! Schrandia and I got the big stand ready while the boys got the new gates put up. Then it was time to get the new little stand in place and cleaned out!! FINALLY WE WERE FINISHED!! It was a very long hot day!! So glad it was over. 

Overall it was a good productive weekend!! Let the week of job hunting and more work around the house begin!!
