Yesterday I spent the day painting the new stand to cover up the previous owners logos. Also parts of it wasn't even painted at all. IT WAS SOOOO HOT!!! When I was cleaning out my paint roller I found myself just spraying myself with the water hose just too feel good. Grandpa thought I didn't know how to clean a roller and I had to explain to him I was doing it on purpose because I was so hot!! I was just about finished painting and guess what happened...yea I ran out of paint!!! Bummer!!
Today was another busy day!! Waterproofing the new stand, putting new locks on the new stand, a trip to Home Depot, hanging up my flag at the stand, and a trip to Walmart.
I got to use a power drill. I tried to saw a 2x4 but it didn't work out so well. It was really flimsy and bent every time I tried to cut. But at least I tried!! I also got to "make it rain"!! LOL to see if the stand was waterproofed I got to spray the building down with the water hose...again I ended up playing in the water more then actually working. It is just soooo hot outside!! I tried to get Warren and Grandpa to play in the water with me but they both said no!! What bums!!! After a long day of work we went to my nanny and papa's because I thought my Uncle Hank was there. Turns out he is staying at a hotel and was out to dinner. So we just sat and talked to my nanny and papa for a bit!! Also this morning Warren got the call that he got the job in Hillsboro!! He put in for a position about a month ago doing the same thing just in Hillsboro!! So now he will be working 4 10s and it is 2 miles closer and he will get a raise!! He is so excited!! I'm happy for him!!
Well tomorrow is another day of preparing for firework season...more painting...and who knows what else I will find to do!! Can't wait for Thursday getting my hair done, then Friday is Relay for Life with Warren's family, then Mrs. Fant's retirement party Saturday and Saturday night is date night!!!! Madagascar 3 at the Drive In!!! Have a good week!!!
